Fibroids – are noncancerous growths that develop in or just outside a woman’s uterus (womb) or inside the pelvic cavity. Traditionally, doctors evaluate tumor size by comparison it to the size of uterus at different stages of pregnancy. So, when a woman says that she had a tumor of fourteen weeks, means that the uterus is enlarged, as if the age of pregnancy was fourteen weeks.
